A few yards from the buses on Chiswick High Road, (Nos. 27, 237, 267, H91 and 391), just near the junction with Goldhawk Road and five minutes walk from the 94 bus stop on Stamford Brook Road.

Parking in Prebend Gardens is available at the pay-and-display bays either side of the railway bridge, or for up to two hours on the parking meters at the junction with Chiswick High Road.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable clothes, preferably trousers. You only take off your shoes for a lesson.

How many lessons will I need? .
A course of 20-30 lessons can provide a good foundation for on-going self-discovery for most people.

Is the Alexander Technique the same thing as Pilates?
No. Pilates is a form of exercise, and the Technique is a method of self-help.

Is this a form of alternative therapy or complementary medicine?
No. While the Alexander Technique can be therapeutic in its results, it is educative in nature. My training is as a teacher, and not as a medical
therapist.

Is the Technique covered by private medical insurance?
No, not at present.

Who tends to come to you for lessons?
People who are interested in self-improvement from all walks of life, and people who are in pain.
